Fees
Due to the siginificant increased cost of running a General Practice, we have been forced to update our fee structure. Please note that Kingsway Family Practice is a privately billing practice.
If you hold a Health Care card or Pension card, please update your details with reception as you may be eligible for a discounted fee or Bulk Billing.
Children aged under 16 will be charged a discounted fee. All childhood vaccinations will continue to be bulk billed.
Patients without Medicare can be seen, but will incur full fees without any rebate.
Home Visits
Home visits unfortunately cannot be bulk billed. Please contact reception by calling to enquire about booking a home visit.
Results
All results are given during consultations only.
Scripts and Referrals
All scripts and referrals require an appointment. If these are brief consultations only, the doctor may choose to Bulk Bill the consultation.
Forms
If you require the completion of paperwork and/or forms, please notify reception on booking an appointment to discuss any fees and to ensure sufficient time is booked. All forms require an appointment and cannot be left for the doctor to complete. This is to ensure timely and accurate completion of your paperwork. Some forms are NOT subsidised by Medicare and would incur a private fee.
Telehealth
Telehealth consultations (phone or video based) have been bulk billed during the pandemic, but will incur a standard consultation fee from 1st July 2022. If you have visited the clinic for consultation in the last 12 months, you may be eligible for a medicare rebate, otherwise, these consultations are billed privately. Appointments can be booked via HotDoc or by calling reception.
